We only use cookies and similar techniques that are needed to run this website, unless you allow more. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.
These cookies and locally stored settings are technically necessary for the website to function and therefore cannot be opt-out. Your cookie preferences (cookie ‘mpc_consent’, valid for 6 months) and your media player settings – such as volume, playback speed, subtitles, transcript and sign language video – are stored (in local browser storage, with keys prefixed by ‘vidply_’). This information remains in your browser; it is not transferred to us or to third parties and is not used to analyse your behaviour. As proof of your consent, your decision is also logged in pseudonymised form, without your IP address or any other personal data. The legal basis is Section 25(2)(2) of the TDDDG in conjunction with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and Article 7(1) of the GDPR for proof of consent.
Helps us understand how the website is used so we can improve its content and navigation. The analysis runs on our own Matomo installation; the data never leaves our infrastructure and is not passed on to third parties.
Counts page views and outgoing links to show which content is in demand and where visitors drop off. No data is transmitted to third parties and no cross-site profiles are built.
